Musée de l’ Ordre de Malte

The museum of the order of the Malta can be found in the Château de la Roche in Magné, it is a family collection that has been put together to form a museum and the objects trace the history of the order which is an international charity.

The order started to help the poor and sick, they were pilgrims who originally went to Jerusalem to pray on the tomb of Christ. To defend them against the muslims the l’Ordre Hospitalier became a military order too.

du 2 juillet au 19 septembre : samedi, dimanche et jours fériés / visites à 10 h, 11h, 11h 45, 14h 30, 15h 30, 16h 30, 17h 30
du 20 septembre au 2 avril : visites sur rendez-vous
